Collect everything on the floor without being caught. The four who are after you behave differently: one comes straight at you, one cuts ahead of where you are going, one hangs back until you get close, and one wanders until it happens to remember what it is for.
Working out which is which is the whole game. The lamps at the corners turn the tables for a few seconds, and each one you catch in that window is worth double the last.

Lamps make them run, and the chain doubles as you catch them.
Torch beam
You light the corridor ahead, so corners stay dark.
Controls
Mouse and touch work the way you would expect. It can also be played entirely with a keyboard, or with a controller on a television.
